NPQ Presents

Giving USA—How did giving go in 2017?

Monday, June 18th, at 2:00 pm—3:00 pm EST

With all that occurred last year in the political and economic realms, what happened with philanthropy? Did any particular fields of organizations do especially well or badly raising money? Did foundations step forward? What kinds of effects might the tax overhaul law have had? What do last year’s figures suggest about the current fundraising climate and where you may want to focus your efforts?

Please join NPQ’s Ruth McCambridge as she hosts Patrick Rooney, Professor of Economics and Philanthropic Studies and the Executive Associate Dean for Academic Programs at the Indiana University Lilly Family School of Philanthropy, and Aggie Sweeney, the Chair of Giving USA Foundation and Senior Counsel at Campbell & Company, as they present on the giving trends in one of the more tumultuous political years in modern history.

You can send your questions to editorinchief@npqmag.org to have them answered during the web event.
